We specialize in the administrative needs of the small to mid-size private equity firm market, and we have assembled a team of skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing unmatched service and value to our customers.
Anne Anquillare, CFA
Anne has been active in the private equity industry since 1993. Anne was a general partner of Walden Capital Partners, a SBIC fund licensed in 1996. At Walden, her responsibilities included both roles as an investment and administrative partner for the fund. Prior to Walden, Anne worked for Prudential Insurance Company of America in their investment business unit.
From 1998-2000, Anne served on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies. She has been a frequent guest speaker for organizations including: NASBIC; The Capital Roundtable; McGladrey & Pullen; Wildman Harrold; CLE International; PricewaterhouseCoopers; and her own General Partner Seminar series.
Anne, a Chartered Financial Analyst, earned a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business.
Joe Campbell
Joe is PEF Services' Senior Web Design and Development Engineer. He is responsible for overseeing the design and development of PEF's proprietary web-based application.
Joe brings 20 years' experience in financial systems design, development and software training, most recently at UBS Financial Services, where he was a Web developer on a mission-critical application, COE (Consolidated Order Entry), used primarily by the financial advisors to enter and review orders for multiple financial instruments. Besides financial advisors, the system also provides functionality for other end users such as branch managers, compliance personnel and administrators. He also has experience in mainframe application development and as a software trainer. Though he has pursued graduate studies in computer sciences, he earned a B.A. in Music from Queens College.
David Gerogosian
David was a Senior Analyst and Manager with the Small Business Administration. Having been active in the SBIC industry since 1990, David oversaw the regulatory and financial investment practices of a portfolio of SBIC venture funds with $2.2 billion of capital. David has direct hands-on knowledge of the program -- from licensing to operational issues through the distribution stage to wind-up of fund operations for both participating securities and debenture funds. David has served on both SBA's regulations and NASBIC's CFO training staffs.
Prior to SBA, David was the finance officer for a publicly traded bank and served as a consultant to the financial services industry. David earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
Allen Greenberg
Allen has been active in the private equity industry since 1987. He is a co-founder of Walden Capital Partners, a private equity fund using Participating Securities. Allen was a partner in Costantino, Melamede & Greenberg, an investment partnership that acquired and managed a number of companies in manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Allen started his career as a certified public accountant in 1976 at Touche Ross & Co., where he became a Tax Partner in 1984.
Allen earned his B.S. and M.B.A. from New York University. He currently serves as an officer and director to The Jerome Robbins Foundation and The Geraldine Stutz Trust and as director of FEGS.
Anne Linden, CPA
Anne gained her experience with private equity funds as the controller of Walden Capital Partners. In addition, she has worked as an independent contractor providing financial services to several small businesses. She served as the chief financial officer and an education consultant of Informed Educators Consulting Group. Prior to joining Informed Educators Consulting Group, Anne taught Business and Computer Science courses in New Jersey high schools. Prior to teaching, she worked in the corporate controller's department of Colgate-Palmolive in New York City. Her activities included preparing financial statements, analyzing worldwide sales growth, evaluating and implementing new accounting standards, and researching and resolving technical accounting issues. Anne began her career as an auditor for Deloitte and Touche and earned her B.A. in Business and Economics from Lafayette College. She is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey.
Beth Manzi
Beth brings more than 15 years' experience in fund administration, accounting and senior management to her new role with PEF Services. For the past two years, she served as CFO and Chief Compliance Officer for Washington Corner Capital Management, LP, a $100 million high-yield/distressed debt fund. In addition to overseeing all accounting, tax preparation, SEC reporting and auditing functions, she developed procedures manuals for operations and compliance, as well as business continuity/disaster recovery plans. She mastered those skills while rising quickly through the ranks at Citi Hedge Fund Services N.A. (formerly BISYS RK Alternative Investment Services Inc. and Rothstein Kass/RK Consulting) to Vice President, Quality Control and Training. During her years at the fund administrator and public accounting firm, she was responsible for continuing education programs, software evaluation, client services and more. She helped convert the firm's business from a public accounting model to a fund administration model, serving hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J.
Tami Rabinowitz, CPA
Tami has over twenty years of experience in the financial service industry. She is thoroughly familiar with financial reporting for Private Equity funds from her prior position as Vice President in the Morgan Stanley Private Equity Fund Controllers division as well as her extensive experience with State Street in Fair Lawn N.J. as an Assistant Vice President. Tami began her career as an auditor for Deloitte and Touche and earned her B.A. in Accounting and Information Systems from Queens College of the City University of New York. She is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey.
Peter Stern, CPA
For the fifteen years prior to joining PEF Services LLC, Peter served as the CFO/Controller for distribution companies. He oversaw all financial aspects of the companies including analysis of all merger and acquisition candidates. Peter has over ten years of auditing experience with regional accounting firms and specialized in assisting clients with cash flow analysis, financial decisions, and tax planning and preparation. Part of that experience is related to the boutique brokerage industry, which included various interactions with the Securities Exchange Commission. He earned his Bachelors degree in accounting from Albany University with a minor in finance. He is a licensed CPA in the state of New Jersey.
